I live in Young Harris, GA and when looking for events with live music Saturday night, I saw that Rival was playing at The Sandbar, I did a quick search of the band to choose between Whisky Mountain Band playing at The Mason Bar in Murphy or staying really local and checking out The Sand Bar. It was a pleasant surprise to see Joel from Collective Soul was in the band! Joel is a phenomenal guitarist, one of the best. Collective Soul is such a great band, so many memories with their music in the background of some very good times. Last night was a real treat. This is the best band that I've heard out and about, and we love live music venues and events. Every musician in the band from vocals to drummer, are extremely talented! I hope you all come back and play in the area, again. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled. Totally rocked my face off!!! I've seen all the cool bands from Metallica to Nirvana to George Jones to Aerosmith, Ronnie Milsap to Green Day, Steely Dan to Toto and many, many bands in between of all genres. Rival holds their own for sure. Thanks for coming out to Hiawasee GA! I look forward to rocking with y'all again.
